Hello! Welcome May and to the re-start/re-working of my blog!
Life continues to be chaotic, but I have desired to return back to sharing my reviews online, as well as, rounding out this blog to contain more of a glimpse into my life and the things that catch my eye and attention. 😁 My littlest, S, has now turned two and it feels more now “If not now, when?”
My school age kiddos are in their last month of school before breaking for summer. (I can’t believe come August 2018 that my oldest will be in middle school!) Soon it will be time to fit in all those activities that we don’t get to indulge as much during the school year due to homework and after school activities— Bring on the crafts, free-play, and game time! Also, hoping to continue to push along project organization, but that is definitely more of a parental wish than a plan the girls will be excited about. My to-do need list and to-do want list are forever full. I’m guessing a lot of us find ourselves with more to do than time in this stage of life. What was I doing before kids? 😂 Definitely getting more sleep! I need one of those shirts that says “Tired since 2009”.
Our newest adventure has been the older girls joining Girl Scouts as Juliettes in October 2017 and checking out the opportunities that has provided us. We have participated in a Veteran’s parade, attended an AKC show, attended camporee where the girls got to canoe, fire-build, and do archery among other activities. Now to play badge work catchup. I’ve currently got one Daisy, one Brownie, and one Junior Scout.
We are also in full swing getting the garden and yard in shape as we head toward the summer heat of Florida. We can’t wait for the day that we can afford a bigger piece of land to expand our garden and have more room to create. One day! For now, we are still in our “10 year” first house. We have lived her for 14 years now. Thankfully we have good neighbors and a good school district.
Wish me luck as I give my blog another try.
